Command Staff

Joseph is the current EMS Chief with MED Evac Emergency Services. Chief Conover began his medical career with the U.S. Army as a Combat Medic in 1999. He quickly rose through the ranks and has held various positions throughout several EMS and Fire Agencies to include Field Training Officer, Supervisor, Watch Commander, Fire Fighter, Supply Officer, Suppression Officer / Lieutenant, Tactical Medic and currently Chief.

Chief Conover is passionate about continuing education and has been an EMT/ BLS Instructor for over twenty years.

Chief Conover has earned advanced certification in Aviation Medicine, Crash Safety Concepts, Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR), Combat Health Support, NCO Role in Leadership I, II, & III, Suppression Officer / Fire Fighter Command, BLS Healthcare Instructor, Special Operations Medical Provider, Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) Provider, Public Information Officer (PIO), Incident Command, Fundamentals of Emergency Management, Leadership, National Incident Response, CERT, Special Events Contingency Planning, Animal Rescue, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention.
